What this is saying is that libvirt was talking to QEMU over to the monitor socket, when the monitor socket closed unexpectedly. This means that QEMU has quit, or more likely crashed. There could be a number of reasons for this.

As a first step try and find the /var/log/libvirt/qemu/$GUESTNAME.log file and see if there are any messages from QEMU. If your host has any MAC system like SELinux or AppArmour, temporarily trying switching that into permissive mode to see if that fixes things.
