Additionally, experienced coders can take advantage of its built in scripting language, 'GML' to design and create fully-featured, professional grade games. Heres what I did: I am working on macOS and exported the game as a zip file.
Skrive ut overskrifter eller titler p hver sided. I did not use a team identifier and signing identifier(left blank) since I believe that is only used for getting past gatekeeper(allowing apps from anywhere also produces the same effect). Then I uploaded the zipped game to Dropbox, and removed the zip file from my own computer.
After downloading the zipped file I just uploaded and trying to run the app, I get the 'Unable to find game' error. This leads me to believe that is probably not due to different versions of macOS. I used to get the application cannot be opened error but this was easily remedied. TLDR, run this command in terminal sudo spctl -master-disable I'm not sure what the issue may be, since running the zipped file directly on my mac(before uploaded) ran the game smoothly. I hope this helped someone try and isolate the problem so that we can get a solution to exporting properly to mac.
