DOSBox emulator port for Windows Phone. Not all DOS games are supported (due to the ARM CPU performance and hardware limitations) but a lot of good old games (including Sierra's quests, Warcraft, Heroes of Might & Magic and many more) are working fine. Its also possible to run Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 on phone! Unfortunately, Microsoft blocked direct access to sd-cards for the store apps. If you still want direct access to sd-card (and avoid files synchronization) please find my post on xda-developers.com forum and sideload the app.
I recommend to use BT keyboard and mouse with the emulator. Also, XBox & MOGA controllers are supported. HAVE A NICE DOS:).
Windows 1.01. If you want to get it, here are instructions: Download and install VirtualBox (if you get a message from Windows that this program was not approved for Windows, it's fine, I tried it and there are no problems.) from here: Once you are done, get the Windows 1.01 Floppy Image here: - DO NOT OPEN THE FILE, SAVE IT. Run VirtualBox and hit 'New' at the top. Hit next until you get to the OS Selection screen. Type in 'Windows 1.01' in the top field (without quotes) and select in the drop down list below it, select 'Other' then under it select 'DOS' and hit next. Now move the slider until you have 4MB of RAM for the image, then hit next.
Check the Boot Hard Disk check box, then make a hard disk by following the on-screen instructions. Then you will go back to the OS installation. Hit finish and the VM will be created. Right click the VM you just made, and select 'Settings'. On the side of the dialog that appears, select 'Floppy'.
Check the box that says 'Mount Floppy Drive'. Select 'Image File' and hit the button that looks like a folder. On the dialog that appears, hit 'Add'. Browse for the image file, and add it. Select the new image, then hit 'Select' at the bottom.
Hit okay at the settings dialog, then double click the VM that says Windows 1.01.
